Education
The students of the Antioch area are served by 34 public and private schools in the following six school districts: Antioch Unified, Brentwood Union Elementary, Knightsen Elementary, Liberty Union High, Oakley Union Elementary and Pittsburg Unified.
The Antioch and East Bay area is rich in institutions of higher learning with these colleges and universities within 20 miles of the city: California State University – Hayward, Diablo Valley College, Heald College – Concord, Los Medanos College, Merritt College, Saint Mary’s College of California and Solano County Community College District.
