Antioch shares its luscious Contra Costa County location with several other smaller cities, towns and islands with their own unique personalities. The city of Clayton is rich with history surrounding founder Joel Clayton’s vision of creating a town for nearby miners of Mt. Diablo. The town of Pittsburg, once called the New York of the Pacific for its New York native architect, is now a bustling town with almost the same energy as its nickname city.
